However, the Bible instructs us to seek out faithful men and woman to commit our businesses to, because they are the people that God promises to equip with the ability to complete the assignment (2 Timothy 2:2). We are also admonished to know those who labor among us (1Thessalonians 5:12). Taking the time to get to know the potential candidate and listening to God’s voice is the best way to prevent hiring mistakes that can be both harmful and costly.

Even after identifying and hiring the best candidates, many Christian employees encounter challenges in their personal and professional careers that can affect their job assignments. Jesus said that we are called to love one another (John 13:34 ) and bear each other’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).
