A few weeks ago, I had a vision of a well-known prophet holding a menu. He was scratching off menu items, and rewriting them. I heard the Lord say,
“Destiny is being rewritten.” He impressed on my heart at the time that our words and prayers can rewrite our future. This is a great responsibility! “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.”
Proverbs 18:21 “For whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.”
1 Peter 3:10 We all deserve judgment, but the gift of forgiveness and redemption is ours through Jesus Christ. We are at a very critical moment in history, and we must be careful what we say. Creation is waiting for the sons and daughters of God to arise and call forth the beauty that God intends. Instead of prophets of doom, speak life, hope, peace, and love. Call our nation to a better place where kindness, honesty, respect, integrity, and faithfulness are a way of life. We can break the cycle of fear off the land and remove the power of contentious, angry, hateful politically charged words through our prayers. Speak life over your family, bless your spouse, your children, your parents, grandparents, and siblings. Pray for your neighbors and coworkers. Believe for their salvation and healing. Break the chains of injustice that hold them captive and pray in faith that they will be set free. Pray life over your businesses and ministries. Things may be different, but there are new chapters to be written. Don’t reject change, allow the Lord to show you what’s next and jump in with both feet to bring about your brand-new future. Declare that it will be better, brighter, fuller, richer, and more vital than before the pandemic. This is our chance to get things right. It’s not too late! The world, as we know it, is moving in an entirely different direction, but we have been given an unprecedented opportunity to turn things around. The Lord is offering us an opportunity for a beautiful future. Don’t waste it! Standing with you and for you! Judy Sullivan
